In the first Rak’ah, recite Surah Al-Fatiha followed by another Surah (many scholars suggest Surah Al-Kafirun).
In the second Rak’ah, recite Surah Al-Fatiha followed by Surah Al-Ikhlas.
Once you have completed the Tasleem (ending the prayer), remain seated. This is the moment to recite the dua e hajat.

لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ الحَلِيمُ الكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، الحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ، أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ، وَالسَّلامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ، لا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْبًا إِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ، وَلا هَمًّا إِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهُ، وَلا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا إِلاَّ قَضَيْتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
“There is no god but Allah, the Clement and Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Great Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask You for the means of Your mercy, the requirements of Your forgiveness, the benefit of every good deed, and safety from every sin. Leave no sin of mine unforgiven, no sorrow unrelieved, and no need of mine that is pleasing to You unfulfilled, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”

A crucial part of the dua says, “…no need of mine that is pleasing to You.” This is a masterclass in Islamic objectivity. Sometimes, what we want (a specific job, a specific person) might not be good for us in the long run. We are asking Allah to fulfill the need only if it aligns with His wisdom and our ultimate success (Akhirah).
